In Pittston, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across Pennsylvania, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Great experience! I was referred here by a family friend for TMJ dysfunction with chronic pain and frequent popping. Since having my appliance made, I’ve have resolution of my pain and no longer have any pops or clicks. Friendly staff and easy scheduling.

Been a patient for over 5 years, was referred to them because of my migraines and tension headaches. I have worn their night guard every night for the last 5 years. If I fall asleep without it, I wake up in the middle of the night with a splitting headache. I couldn't imagine life without it at this point. Patrick has been the partitioner there for a while and he is fantastic. Super caring, knowledgable, and always willing to help. If you grind your teeth, or have headaches, calling them and make an appointment today! I have been thrilled and I'm sure you will be too.

I have been a patient for over 15 years. I started in the Allentown office and followed through several moves and changes in providers. Since the initial diagnosis and making of an appliance, I have had no pain. My appliance was re made once and has been carefully checked and occasionally adjusted on an annual basis. I have been treated by caring professionals at all times. This office has good communication and flexible scheduling. It is a 90 minute drive from my home but well worth the trip!

Overall this is truly a great office! My mother had severe TMJ pain, with very limited ability to even open her mouth. As of late, she is out of pain with her mouth appliances. No surgery needed! She is an advanced senior, who Patrick has above and beyond patience to deal with her needs. We love Patrick!

Great experience! I went in for a consultation after many years of severe jaw pain and many different types of mouth guards. Patrick spent a lot of time getting my history and discussing my options. I then saw Dr. Polit who was very compassionate and knowledgeable. We decided to move forward with some day/night guards and impressions were taken. 3 weeks later I had my fitting for my guards and Patrick was very meticulous in making sure my guards fit just right. To my surprise, the guards were very comfortable to sleep in and for the first time in a long time I didn't wake up in the middle of the night in pain! I can't believe the difference I have noticed in just 1 week of wearing my new guards. I'm sleeping so much better and not waking up in pain. I'm looking forward to see how things progress over time. I highly recommend for any TMJ issues.
